Russian farmers are primarily inclined to invest in the renewal and maintenance of previously purchased agricultural machinery rather than to purchase completely new or used ones. This is demonstrated by the result of a study conducted jointly by the Avito website and AA-P.Ru (www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear desire to increase the service life of agricultural machinery: farmers have begun to treat it with more care, thus increasing the need for new parts and service. Based on the data of the Avito.Ru platform, this year the demand for spare parts has increased 7 times compared to last year, and the supply has increased by almost 90 percent. The top ten cities with the greatest growth in demand for components for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a developed agricultural industry.

Based on the information received from the Pole.Ru portal, there is a six-fold increase in farmers' interest in parts for agricultural machinery in 2024. Consumers today prioritize an efficient and therefore secure way to order parts online. Here it becomes clear who is the manufacturer of the parts, as well as comprehensive assistance, from the selection of goods to the dispatch of the purchase. At the same time, leasing of agricultural machinery is in trend, the demand for it is growing by an order of magnitude every year, especially taking into account state support.

Based on the information received from Avito.ru, starting from 2025, about 120000 offers for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in Russia were available on the site. Of this volume, over 115 thousand ads concerned the sale of new components. The most popular commodity items in the Russian Federation during 2024 were attachments, booths, platforms, bodies, as well as components of hydraulic systems. The manager of the thematic section "Spare Parts" on the Avito.ru platform reports that against the backdrop of the import substitution policy, the agricultural sector is showing rapid growth and has indicated a growing need for high-quality specialists, machinery, components and equipment.

Earlier, the Association reported a decrease in the volume of tractor production in Russia this year. Based on the data of the Ministry of Agriculture, during this year, Russian agricultural enterprises reduced the volume of purchases of the main types of agricultural machinery. It is believed that this trend will remain relevant this year.
